I am living in Arlington, TX and teaching high school art at a charter school in Euless, TX. The picture is a couple of years old: my wife, Heather, our son, Duncan (4 in the pic, now 6), and, of course, me.

Well, after reading through the other bios, I decided that a little more info about the last 20 years was called for, so here goes. 
I was in and out of Tech for a couple of years after RHS. I met my wife Heather (she wasn't my wife then, you understand) during one of the "in college" periods. We married in June 92 and putzed around for a few years before going back to school. I got my BFA at Tech in 98 (took me long enough) and moved to Texas the next day with no real idea of what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, except that I did NOT want to teach.
A friend of mine who worked at a local school would every now and again ask me if I would like to take up teaching, and I'd say NO. Then when Heather and I were expecting our son (Duncan, see above) I thought it might be a good thing to try to have some sort of positive impact on the world around me, plus it put me back in an art class situation, which I always liked.
So now I'm starting my seventh year teaching, my son's starting 1st grade, and Heather and I've been married for 16 years.

I just recently got remarried in June 2007 to a great guy I dated forever! I have one daughter (we'll call her Mini Me) that is 13 going on 21. We have just bought a house in September & I love it. Have a great job in West Monroe that keeps me busy.

Terri...you are the best!!! This is such a great site. It is so neat to see what everyone is doing and where they are. I can't wait to see everyone at the reunion!!! Well, I didn't move far from Ruston...we live in West Monroe, where my husband, Baron, is from. We have been married for 16 years. Wow! He is a Rebel, graduated from West Monroe High, but because of my Dad now coaching at RHS...he is a true Bearcat fan!!!! We have two girls..Keelie(13) and Kenzie(9). They are great and keep us really busy with all the girl stuff!!! I teach kindergarten at Claiborne Elementary...the best school in the world!!! I absolutely love it!!!!

Hello to all.  I am still close to Ruston, just down the interstate in West Monroe...where I have been living and working since 1989.  I own and operate Green Sports which is a sporting goods store specializing in team sales.  I have been doing this since 1990 shortly after my college career ended...and loving it.

I have a 17 year old son (Sidney) starting La Tech this fall and a precious 13 month daughter (Alexis).

I can't wait to see alot of you  I have not seen in a long time.

It is so good to see what everyone is doing 20 years later!  After graduating from RHS, I went to LSU for one whole semester and came back to LA Tech where I graduated in Business Management.  I worked in Ruston for a year or two after graduating, and then moved to Baton Rouge where I have been for 13 years. I have been employed by the same family for those 13 years either in the electrical contracting business or retail tool business.  I married Dr. Larry Bates in 2002.  He is a General Dentist at LSU School of Dentistry.  We have no children of our own, but we help raise about 20 kids (ages 12-17) at our church every week.  We travel instead of socking money away for college funds.  Life is good!

I live in Birmingham, AL with my wife Clara and two year old son Luke. We have been married for seven years. I teach and coach in Hoover, AL at a 6A high school called Spain Park. Last year our team made it to the state finals. I wish I could make it to the reunion, but it's right in the middle of football and my busiest time of the year. I hope we can make the next one.

It was so great reading everyone's bios. Sounds like a really successful group the Class of '88 was. After high school, I went to Tech for a few years then moved to Shreveport. I went to school over there for a while and began working in the legal field and while there, met my first husband, Wayne Blanchard, who was an attorney in private practice. He took a job as a U.S. Attorney in Lafayette so we moved in 1994. We were married and had 2 boys Neil, now 13, and Nicholas, now almost 12. After 8 years of marriage, we divorced but have remained great friends. I went back to work as a paralegal after staying home for 5 years. I am now remarried to a guy named Mike Harper who is an attorney here in Lafayette. Besides my two boys, Neil and Nick, I have two step-daughters who I adore, Madeline, 10, and Hannah, 6. Now, I know that my bio says we have 5 kids and if basic math was taught correctly in Ruston, the number of kids I said just does not add up. I am due to have my 3rd boy, Hagan Garrett Harper, on September 15th which will make 5. So, with that being said, I will not be at the reunion this year. Anyway, it was so great to see what is going on with everyone. Thanks to all who have obviously worked so hard on this upcoming reunion!! I am sure the reunion be a blast!!!

Hey folks!!!
I am in Birmingham, Alabama....since 3/93, was married, but divored 1996, still here.  No children, just working and living life, which is good!  I got married in 1991, much too young, but learned alot fast, which was a good thing.  I have a wonderful chocoate lab (Coco) which has been a handful, if you know about labs. However, can't wait to see everyone!
